Whale Watching Tours of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary

Coronavirus Update

WE ARE OPEN!

We are accepting single-party groups of up to six, or two parties of one to two each. We will seat unrelated pairs in the front and rear seats keeping the middle seats empty for social distancing. To book tickets on public tours, click the calendar. If you want the boat to yourself on a public tour simply buy all six tickets. Private charters with custom start times are also available.

Masks that cover your nose and mouth are required throughout the tour. They don’t get in the way of seeing whales!

For Private Charters, “Call to Book” dates, and requests for dates not available through the calendar, please email [email protected] with the number of people, public tour or private charter preference, and date(s) to reserve your spot. Or use our Contact Form. Thank you!

Fast Raft Ocean Safaris are the most exhilarating way to explore the beautiful Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Our low-to-the-water boat, Ranger, is comfortable, quiet, and highly maneuverable, offering an incredible perspective of marine wildlife and beautiful coastal scenery.

With a maximum of six passengers, each tour is customized to the unique desires of our guests. Each passenger has a front row seat for an exhilarating experience of our amazing ocean wilderness.

Check it out! All Day Expeditions especially for Spring Killer Whale Season, and by request year-round. Specially designed for the seaworthy adventurer who just can’t get enough of Monterey Bay’s incredible marine life. Is that you? Join us!

Love our whales? Want to help them?

Please support the Whales of Guerrero project!  This nonprofit is helping the Mexican fishing town of Barra de Potosí, near Zihuatenejo, develop a sustainable economy while protecting our humpbacks in their winter home. Learn more and DONATE to our favorite whale-focused community resilience project. There are school programs, safe whale watch captain training, citizen science training, and an amazing mentorship exchange with the famously successful Baja California gray whale watching network of Laguna San Ignacio. Katherina Audley of Portland, Oregon runs this fantastic program on a shoestring of private donations so let’s help keep it going!
